Motzie Dapul is an award-winning queer Pinay-Can showrunner, writer, artist, voice actor, and animator who brings Filipino and LGBTQ+ themed stories to global audiences, primarily through fantasy, mythology, sci-fi, horror, and romance (often all at once).
She’s currently a proud resident of Toronto, Canada.

Motzie immigrated to Canada in late 2018 from Quezon City, Metro Manila, and is currently based in Downtown Toronto.
She is a professional 2D TV Animator with 8+ years of industry and in-studio experience.
She’s also known for her independent comics work as a producer, editor, writer and artist of various Filipino LGBTQ+ komiks, which she frequently sells at conventions and art markets.
She has extensive voice acting work on her own series, Hi Nay, under her belt, as well as other roles, such as The Filipino Chicken in asdfmovie15: deleted scenes, Ephelzeph the Endless Storm in Hello From The Hallowoods, Autumn Ragasa in Hollow Disciple, LUCIFUGA THE UNDYING in KILLJAM XXX and various other guest roles.
She previously worked at Jam Filled Entertainment, Sphere Animation (Formerly Oasis Animation), Portfolio Entertainment and Guru Studio as a 2D Animator in Toronto, attended Sheridan College’s Advanced TV and Film program, and was formerly of the staff of Top Draw Animation in the Philippines.
